Uploading your QuickBooks file to our FTP server:

  1. open Internet Explorer

  2. type ftp://mail.schnaid.com in url (where you see http://)

  3. username: ftp_user

  4. password: (this will be given to you by our staff)

  5. if the next window you see is:
    FTP root at mail.schnaid.com, click on page
    Open FTP site in Windows Explorer
    New window will open, it will be blank
    Find your QB file on your computer
    (sometimes in C:\ProgramFiles\Intuit\QuickBooks2007\Data - (the file with extension .QBW)
    Copy and paste file into blank window (this may take a few minutes depending on file size)
    When done, close window.

  6. if the next window you see is:
    Blank page
    Copy and paste your file onto blank window
    When done, close window.
